Historical places of Pechory and Izborsk in Russia. Both have beautiful natural surroundings and lots of historical sites.
Pechory is famous by its monastery founded in 15th century. it’s one of the biggest Orthodox centers in the country. A lot of piligrims and general public coming to Pechory’s monastery every day. It’s pretty busy through out the year.
Izborsk fortress has been built in 14th century. Also near by located one of the oldest settlements in Russia, Truvor’s gorodishche, dating back to the end of 9th century.
